On this page, you wi ll find tips and tricks for improving your mind and body health, as well as a platform to track your progress. Exercise and Fitness:
  1. Exercise for at least 30 minutes per day.
  2. Meet daily exercise and fitness challenge
  3. Record how many miles you walk or run. Our total school goal is 5,000 miles!
  4. Meet weekly challenge.

Nutrition:

  1. Make healthy changes to your diet.
  2. Eat at least two servings of vegetables a day. Remember, this is a minimum

Yoga and Meditation:

  1. Practice yoga daily
  2. Practice meditation daily

Ergonomics:

  1. Practice good ergonomics daily.
  2. Learn more about ergonomics by attending the ergonomics webinars.
Stress:
  1. Identify your sources of stress
  2. Take action to reduce chronic stress.

Wholeness:

  1. Explore spiritual practices.
  2. Participate in spiritual or psychological wellness activities daily.

Complementary and Alternative Medicine (CAM):

  1. Learn more about complementary and alternative medicine.
  2. Participate in CAM activities offered by the Get Healthy campaign.

Studies show that there is health and healing in nature. So, this week's challenge is to just go outside and play. You can go for a nature hike, sit by a stream and journal, watch the sun go down, lie on the earth and count the stars, or walk down the beach and collect sea shells. Life goes by quickly, and spending all day sitting inside will have you missing out on the healing power of nature. At least once this week, go outside and play.
